Founded in Baltimore, The Golden Kupkake is a proudly Black-owned, woman-owned bakery built on passion, creativity, and community. What started as one baker’s dream has grown into a dedicated team committed to crafting desserts that surprise, delight, and inspire connection.
Beyond the kitchen, we believe dessert can make a difference. The Golden Kupkake proudly supports local initiatives, using sweet treats as a way to spread joy, uplift others, and give back to the community that continues to support us.

When I started The Golden Kupkake in Baltimore, my goal was simple: to spread joy through desserts that taste just as good as they look. What began as a personal passion for baking quickly grew into something bigger—a team united by creativity, love for community, and the belief that every occasion deserves a little sweetness.
As a proud Black woman entrepreneur, I want The Golden Kupkake to represent more than just treats. It’s about celebrating culture, empowering others, and giving back to the community that shaped me. Every cake, kupkake, and jar we make carries that purpose: to spark smiles, to bring people together, and to remind us all that joy can be found in the smallest bite.
